The Markforged Metal X has arrived at Rugby-based HK3d in the UK. Launch events will take place across the summer to showcase this new type of metal 3D printer technology. The Metal X uses fourth generation composite 3D printing technology that binds metal powder in a plastic matrix, eliminating the safety risks associated with traditional metal 3D printing, while also providing significant advancements in part weight and cost reduction.
“We are extremely excited to bring the Metal X to the UK. Although metal 3D printing is not new, this process of metal 3D printing certainly is and our team can’t wait to introduce it to our customers and solving some of the day to day challenges of designing and manufacturing smarter,” says Steven Wilcox, managing director at HK3D.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
