ISO have launched ISO/ASTM AWI 52945 standard for 3D printed parts of Automotive industry. The standard covers all the critical parts of quality such as machine quality, orientation and key performance indicators.

3D Systems to Expand Healthcare Applications Portfolio with Acquisition of Kumovis
3D Systems today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Kumovis, a Munich, Germany-based additive manufacturing solutions provider for personalized healthcare applications. Kumovis’ solutions are built upon their unique extrusion technology specifically developed for precision printing of medical-grade, high-performance polymers such as PEEK.
The Technical University of Munich (TUM), Oerlikon, GE Additive and Linde are collaborating to create an additive manufacturing cluster. This cluster is a grouping of companies and organizations that will conduct research on and develop additive manufacturing technology from a single hub location. The news was released by the company media.
