Structo, a provider of dental 3D printing solutions, has appointed Doug Statham as its new Vice President of Global Sales. Statham joins the Singapore-based company with a focus on digital dentistry and around 20 years of dental industry experience.
Statham started off his career in dental with 7 years at Nobel Biocare, followed by a position as global director of business development at Keystone Dental. According to Structo’s press release, Statham served an integral role in boosting annual sales of Keystone Dental from zero to more than $50 million, enabling Keystone to expand from 12 to 125 employees. Statham also worked at a Germany-based 3D printing company for four years. In this company, he led the sales team covering Latin America, the United States, and Canada, as well as several distribution and reseller networks. He was reportedly responsible for a 250% sales growth of the company in 2 years.
Statham said, “When the Structo team invited me over to Singapore to visit their engineering and manufacturing facilities, I did not know what to expect initially.” “After seeing it first hand, I was really impressed with what they’ve set up in terms of research & development and manufacturing processes. I was surprised at the level of resources Structo is pouring into developing new materials for new applications, and also at how much the team is investing in automation that will solve the industry’s key pain points. I can’t wait to help bring these new products to market,” he adds.
In his new role, Statham will be responsible for further expanding Structo’s footprint starting with North America.
