AM Conclave an initiative to promote Additive Manufacturing ecosystem in the Middle East is pleased to announce the addition of DNV as its Knowledge Partner. DNV’s collaboration with AM Conclave emphasizes their shared commitment to fostering knowledge sharing of additive manufacturing across various sectors.

Additive Manufacturing has potential to transform every industry across the Middle East and initiatives like AM Conclave helps to bring all the stakeholders on one platform, catalyzing the growth. With DNV joining as Knowledge Partner, the event is set to benefit from the organization’s extensive expertise in quality and risk management for additive manufacturing industries.

DNV works with stakeholders across the value chain to ensure that additive manufacturing (AM) products, assets, and systems are safe and efficient. AM has the potential to rapidly supply reliable and cheaper spare parts at or close to places where industries need them. This could help to avoid long, expensive production shutdowns and reduce supply-chain carbon footprints. However, building trust in ‘printed’ parts is key to unlocking this potential. DNV provides a range of services to help organizations adopt AM safely and efficiently. These services include, Business and technology development, Pre-production qualification and approval,  In-service monitoring and assessment and Training and education.

Dr. Sastry Kandukuri, Global Practice Lead, Additive Manufacturing & Senior Principal Specialist – Qualification & Certification at DNV Energy Systems, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “As a Knowledge Partner for AM Conclave Middle East, DNV is looking forward to fostering collaboration and enhancing end user confidence in additive manufacturing technology. Building upon our successful endeavors in Singapore, Europe, and other parts of the world, we eagerly anticipate close collaboration with the entire AM ecosystem in the Middle East region. With a strong emphasis on standardization, comprehensive guideline development, and rigorous testing conducted at our world-class laboratories, we prioritize the needs of end users, empowering them to drive the accelerated adoption of AM”

“DNV’s partnership with AM Conclave Middle East is a significant step towards fostering collaboration and driving the adoption of additive manufacturing in the region. Through collaboration with DNV this platform will accelerate the growth of the AM ecosystem, aligning with the strategic initiatives and manufacturing goals of the Middle East.” added Aditya Chandavarkar, Co-Founder – AM Chronicle and AMTECH

“We are thrilled to have DNV, a leading quality assurance provider, join AM Conclave Middle East as a Knowledge Partner. Their expertise and global presence will undoubtedly contribute to the success of this initiative, facilitating knowledge exchange, promoting best practices, and ensuring the safe and sustainable growth of additive manufacturing in the Middle East. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with DNV.” stated Dilip Raghavan, Co-Founder – AM Chronicle and AMTECH stated

AM Conclave Middle East is scheduled on September 13-14, 2023 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).  AM Conclave offers a wealth of experience to participants from various sectors, including aerospace, automotive, healthcare, and manufacturing regarding additive manufacturing.
