PPprint announced that Hohenstein Laboratories GmbH & Co. KG has certified all color variants of our ‘P-filament 721’ as biologically safe according to DIN EN ISO 10993-5. This certification enables the production of 3D-printed products that are suitable for skin contact.
Their ‘P-filament 721’ is thus not only suitable for medical technology applications, such as the production of orthoses and prostheses, due to its excellent chemical and mechanical properties, but also enables these products to be used in direct skin contact with patients.
They are also very pleased that their ‘P-filament carbon 411’ has also been certified as biologically safe and therefore suitable for skin contact applications.
The certificates for biological safety according to DIN EN ISO 10993-5 of our ‘P-filament 721’ and our ‘P-filament carbon 411’ can be found in the attachment of this e-mail.
