ADDiTEC, a pioneering leader in advanced additive manufacturing solutions, is proud to announce a strategic collaboration with Tri-Tech 3D, one of the UK’s leading providers of 3D printing systems. Launched at FORMNEXT 2024, it marks an important step in bringing cutting-edge metal additive manufacturing technology to the UK market.

Starting this month, Tri-Tech 3D will collaborate with ADDiTEC on expanding sales in the UK of ADDiTEC’s innovative product line, including the state-of-the-art AMDROiD—a turn-key Laser Directed Energy Deposition (LDED) robot cell designed for reactive metals—and the Hybrid Systems, a unique combination of CNC, Liquid Metal Jetting (LMJ), and LDED technologies. This product expansion will provide UK industries with the next generation of high-performance, precision-based 3D printing solutions.

Brian Matthews, CEO of ADDiTEC, stated: “This represents a significant milestone in our commitment to deliver exceptional value to customers in the UK. As a proud native of the UK, I am personally excited to work closely with Tri-Tech 3D to meet the growing demand for advanced manufacturing solutions across sectors like aerospace, automotive, and energy.”

This collaboration will empower manufacturers in the UK to benefit from industry-leading additive manufacturing capabilities, supporting their goals for efficiency, innovation, and sustainability. In particular, industries such as aerospace, defense, and automotive, known for their rigorous demands on material performance and production precision, will gain access to the versatile and powerful technology of ADDiTEC’s systems.

Tri-Tech 3D’s Managing Director, Adrian Painter, added: “Working with ADDiTEC allows us to further our mission of providing cutting-edge solutions to our clients. Their advanced technology is a perfect fit for our existing product portfolio, and we’re excited to introduce these new capabilities to our customer base across the UK.”

With a robust presence in the UK’s additive manufacturing industry, Tri-Tech 3D is well-positioned to provide comprehensive advice on initial specification and work with ADDiTEC in growing the UK install base. Aided further still by their sister company, Cadspec, which bolsters their offering, providing an end-to-end solution for customers integrating CAD/CAM software with Industry 4.0 technologies.

This collaboration is poised to accelerate the adoption of advanced additive manufacturing technologies in the UK, setting a new benchmark for performance and reliability in the field.
