Dr Sachin Salunkhe
Dr. Sachin Salunkhe is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Vel Tech University Chennai, India. He received his PhD from the S.V. National Institute of Technology, Surat, India. His main research interests are in the area of press tool design, metal additive manufacturing, and Artificial Intelligence in manufacturing applications, die design expert systems, sheet metal forming, wear analysis, fatigue analysis and high strain rate. He has more than 85 research papers in reputed journals, conferences and four book chapters (indexed in Web of Science core collection/h-index 7+/ 140+ citations, SCOPUS/h-index 7+/160+ citations, Google Scholar/h-index 9+/200+). Dr. Sachin Salunkhe is Editor of various journals such as Advances in Metal Additive Manufacturing, Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part L: Journal of Materials: Design and Applications (IF-2.014), International Journal for Simulation and Multidisciplinary Design Optimization.
