Additive Academy – a training and education initiative by Indian 3D Printing Network is expanding its team to build local training expertise with the inclusion of Raghunandan M as Industry Advisor.

Raghunandan M is an Industrial engineer from Bangalore with more than 25 years of experience in various verticals like steel, graphite, specialised surface finishing and metal additive manufacturing. He has worked extensively on Metal Additive Manufacturing since the last 7 years and has successfully delivered many projects in domains like Aerospace and Space, Medical, Energy, Academic Collaborations, among others. He previously was the Head of Operations at Intech Additive Solutions (formerly INTECH DMLS Pvt. Ltd) and exclusively handled the Aerospace and Defence business.
He brings with him experience of collaborating with with the leading technical institutions in India like the Indian Institute of Science, IIT’s and a few others for the development of Metal Additive Manufacturing programs in the domains of Medical, Aerospace and General Engineering.
Mr Raghunandan adds “Considering the immense potential offered by AM we can surely in the long haul make this a successful initiative and in parallel increase the adoption of AM and benefit the larger AM ecosystem in general.”
The aim of Additive Academy is to provide cutting edge and comprehensive Additive Manufacturing Education and Training from across the globe on one platform. Additive Academy has already established partnerships with global thought leaders in Additive Manufacturing including the Barnes Global Advisors and Purdue University.
Additive Academy will continue to bring more experts on board to design applications specific courses and training.
