TriMech, a leader in advanced manufacturing solutions and part of the TriMech Group, has announced it will now sell and support One Click Metal’s BOLDSERIES system. Known for providing industrial 3D printing and laser scanning solutions, TriMech aims to bring an accessible and versatile metal production system to a wider range of users.
“We chose One Click Metal as a partner because they have created a metal production system that’s accessible to users of all sizes, from manufacturers to educators,” explained Chip Hogge, General Manager of Advanced Manufacturing at TriMech. “It’s the perfect fit for clients seeking an affordable, user-friendly entry into metal printing without sacrificing part quality.”
One Click Metal’s vision is to simplify metal additive manufacturing, a mission that began in 2019, according to CEO Gerrit Brüggemann. “Today, we’re celebrating getting our technology into the hands of creative and talented people across North America. TriMech’s strong reputation among engineers and manufacturers makes them an ideal partner for expansion.”
One Click Metal’s Approach to LPBF
One Click Metal’s BOLDSERIES uses a laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) process where metal powder is contained in handheld cartridges. The MPRINT unit’s coater distributes the powder across the base plate, while a laser selectively melts the material to form a solid part. The MPUREPRO unit further refines the process by removing and sieving excess powder for reuse. Material options include stainless steel, nickel alloy, aluminum, and titanium.
Designed for Accessibility
With a compact design, the BOLDSERIES system is ideal for small- and medium-sized businesses, requiring minimal site adjustments. It operates with an inert gas supply, such as nitrogen or argon, and ensures safety by containing metal powder securely, addressing a key barrier to metal 3D printing.
“Our clients tackle complex, high-stakes work,” Hogge added. “The One Click Metal solution simplifies their processes, enhances results, and boosts profitability.”
