Sigma Labs, Inc., a provider of quality assurance software under the PrintRite3D® brand, announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued a Notice of Allowance for U.S. Patent Application No. 15/276,452, “Optical Manufacturing Process Sensing and Status Indication System.” The patent application covers a system of sensors configured to measure optical emissions generated by a scanning heat source during an additive manufacturing (AM) process and to analyze the data collected.

Additionally, there are eighteen more patents-pending in process.”
