Revopoint, a global 3D scanner manufacturer, is gearing up to launch its latest product, the Revopoint INSPIRE 3D scanner. The company aims to make 3D scanning more accessible and affordable, and has already run four successful Kickstarter campaigns in the past. The new 3D scanner will be available for pre-order through a Kickstarter campaign from August 16th to September 16th, 2023.
The Revopoint INSPIRE 3D scanner is designed to offer high-performance, portability, and ease of use. It has become an industry sales leader, with customers in over 150 countries and regions worldwide. The company’s team includes Ph.D. experts from renowned research institutes, ensuring that their 3D scanners are at the forefront of innovation.
Key features of the INSPIRE 3D scanner include its speed and accuracy. It can scan medium-sized objects at speeds of 14-18 frames per second, with a single frame accuracy of 0.2mm. The scanner also has high-speed internet connectivity options, such as stable wireless scanning with WiFi-6 or a Type-C USB connection.
The INSPIRE 3D scanner offers a versatile scan range of 230*140mm and a working scanning distance of 250mm – 500mm. It is lightweight and portable, weighing only 140g, making it suitable for handheld use. It can also be used as a turntable scanner, with a mini turntable included in the package.
The scanner incorporates enhanced marker tracking capabilities using dual infrared LEDs. Intelligent algorithms improve its functionality, and a white LED next to the RGB camera ensures even lighting for accurate full-color scans. The package also includes the Magic Mat, a foldable mat with pre-placed marker points, making it easier to scan featureless objects.
The INSPIRE 3D scanner offers wide-ranging cross-platform compatibility, working with Windows 10/11, macOS, Android, and iOS. It comes with the Revo Scan 5.0 software that has a new intuitive user interface and offers one-click post-processing. Users can export STL, OBJ, and PLY files. Unlike other 3D scanners, the INSPIRE 3D scanner does not require a powerful PC, only needing an i5 processor and 8GB RAM to function.
The INSPIRE 3D scanner is suitable for a variety of applications, including 3D modeling, design, printing, reverse engineering, video game development, and more. Revopoint also provides other products and accessories for professional users.
