More from the Company
“We’re happy to have Paul on board,” adds Photocentric’s managing director, Paul Holt. “Paul is a charming, witty, and effective seller with a solid technical background and a love for innovation and the development of new products in a variety of applications and industries.” Paul believes in the power of teamwork and has a ‘can do’ mentality, constantly striving to give the best solution for clients.”
Paul Ruscoe has worked with and for blue chip firms in the automotive, oil and gas, industrial, medical, and consumer products industries, providing a wide range of material and processing solutions. His interest in additive manufacturing began about 20 years ago, when he employed AM technologies to design and construct prototypes for the launch of his own business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies. Paul saw the potential of additive manufacturing in generating prototypes for testing with customer focus groups and the capacity to iterate quickly.
Paul devised a mass production tooling solution for the creation of elastomeric products using AM, eliminating the requirement for expensive injection moulding tools. This was a critical part of releasing items to customers via e-commerce and high-street merchants without a large cash investment. This experience piqued Paul’s interest in pursuing a Master’s degree in Advanced Product Design while working with a variety of product designers, engineers, and design firms. He also holds a degree in Polymer Science and Engineering with honors.
Paul, who has a plethora of experience in mass production as well as technical and commercial knowledge, is ready for clients to call right away to assist with their next customer project.
