As 2023 dawns, leading manufacturing innovator Phillips Machine Tools is getting ready to ring in the new year with their 2nd participation at the IMTEX Expo from January 19th to 25th 2023. With a vision to help Indian manufacturers achieve leaps in productivity, Phillips India explains how they’re bringing global technologies to IMTEX 2023.

More from the News

Phillips Machine Tools, a unit of American-based Phillips Corporation, is renowned especially for being the world’s largest Haas Factory Outlet, having partnered with Haas for over 3 decades. As one of India’s biggest suppliers of state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, Phillips provides solutions across technologies like milling, turning, grinding, EDM, additive manufacturing, metal forming, and more. In addition to Haas, they also represent leading brands such as Hermle, AccuteX, Markforged, Precihole and Universal Robots.

Spread across a 204 square meter stall in Hall 4, Booth A108, Phillips will be showcasing the latest machining solutions, many with live applications and demos for visitors to experience first-hand how they can future-proof their manufacturing processes. This encompasses a range of additive /3D printers Markforged X7 and Mark Two,  and a 5-axis machining center from Hermle, on which will be machined a model of the Lotus Temple. Other machines that will be displayed include the, AccuteX AL 400 Precision Wire EDM  handheld arm scanners and trackers from API and exciting new products from PRECIHOLE MACHINE TOOLS and GD WEILER. Phillips’ own machines will also be at the show, including their ZNC Die Sinker PZE 450. Proudly made in India, the Phillips Surface Grinder PSG 4080AHD will feature at the stall as well, making its way to IMTEX for the first time ever. If all this wasn’t exciting enough, 10th generation Apple iPads are also up for grabs and will be awarded to 3 lucky stall visitors!

“Phillips has always been about bringing the best technologies available around the world to our country, and our participation at IMTEX 2023 will be taking things to the next level,” says Mr. Terrence Miranda, Managing Director at Phillips Machine Tools. “We want to empower Indian manufacturers to unlock their full potential to Make in India and realize the Atmanirbhar Bharat dream of our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.”

The Phillips team prides itself on being additive and machining experts with ever-growing competencies around the world, always focusing on helping their customers achieve leaps in productivity and prosperity. Mr. Nikhil Modi, Global Marketing Leader at Phillips Machine Tools further adds, “Our goal has always been to bring education and awareness to Indian manufacturers, especially small businesses which don’t always have the best access to the latest technologies. Thus, we are looking at IMTEX with the mission of actually showing people in this industry how they can take advantage of technology to optimize their processes. Our team of experts is skilled at bridging the gap between Indian manufacturers and the solutions to the challenges they face.”

IMTEX is the flagship exhibition organized by the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA). It is one of the largest of its kind in South Asia, and will once again be held at Bengaluru International Exhibition Center (BIEC). It brings together in a single space the metal cutting industry, and attracts key decision markers, policy makers, and experts of manufacturing and related industries, eager to explore innovations that could skyrocket their processes.
