Adding tremendous value to the world of Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing, is the recent announcement by One Click Metal, of its partnership with Kingsbury Gulf to launch the holistic process chain BOLDSERIES system. This BOLDSERIES will be launched at the Kingsbury Gulf booth, during the SteelFab Exhibition, to be held from January 9th to 12th, 2023, in Sharjah. Kingsbury’s experienced additive manufacturing engineering team will provide all its metal 3D printing expertise to One Click Metal´s customers throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

1612858247763Speaking at the occasion, Adam De Carli, Sales Director (GCC) shared, “With tremendous interest in additive manufacturing throughout the G.C.C., Kingsbury Gulf has seen a need for an affordable, intuitive and intelligent system that makes metal 3D printing user-friendly and accessible to everyone. Kingsbury Gulf is delighted to announce our partnership with One Click Metal, and through their BOLDSERIES system, help engineers realise the potential of additive manufacturing”.

Founded in 2019, One Click Metal set out with the goal of making industrial metal 3D printing accessible to the world. In addition to the MPRINT 3D printer, the Company produces its own automated powder handling station, the MPURE and MPURE Pro, for use with its additive manufacturing systems. Depending on the different powder package requirements from clients, these will be available in four different sizes, all available with a low financial entry barrier which will allow rapid access into Additive Manufacturing technology. The MPRINT is an accessibility-focused metal system built for industrial prototyping and low-volume series production applications. Compatible with a number of reactive metals such as aluminium, stainless steel, tool steel and Nickel alloys – all of which are provided by One Click Metal, the system features an easy-to-use cartridge system, where powdered feedstock is housed, reclaimed, and transferred into modular canisters.

1601529190802“One Click Metal produces easy to use printers with the best price performance level of a powder bed fusion machine. The BOLDSERIES is a holistic process chain that includes the MONE, MPRINT and MPURE Pro. It also includes the starter package comprising of cartridge interfaces, cartridge containers, substrate plates, coater lips, bayonet lock, PSA, parameters and lifter. The powder and cartridge system will help in easy and safe powder handling, as well as the co-thinking philosophy will support and guide the user from the beginning till the end. The holistic product solution enables an optimally coordinated system chain and quick success in metal 3D printing”, added Stefan Weber, CTO and co-founder of One Click Metal.

The Supply Cartridge contains the fresh powder for the process and is NFC tagged to ensure that the correct powder in the right condition is feed to the process. The split in five cartridges enables both an ergonomic handling of the powder and to run a full size build job without manual interaction. The cartridges integrate with the MPURE Pro unpacking station to automate the powder handling process. The parts need naturally to be depowerded after printing and the not melted powder have to be sieved to bring it back to the process. Therefore the MPURE Pro has an integrated unpacking area that allows to depowder safely via gloves and a sieving unit with an ultrasonic sieve that fully automatically sieves the powder. All oversize powder is sent to a junk cartridge.

A lab module can be purchased with increased material flexibility, thus growing the possibilities in the application for the LPBF technology. The lab module is compatible with the MPRINT and can be installed quickly and easily. Different powder materials can be used with the lab module without time-consuming material changes of the complete system. With the BOLDSERIES, you can get access to a holistic end-to-end workflow without much of technical hassles.
