As part of its continuing expansion, Meltio, Linares, Spain, has named KnowHow Wilhelms GmbH, Wusterhausen-Niederlehme, Germany, as the company’s first official sales partner for the German territory.

KnowHow Wilhelms presently utilizes Meltio Additive Manufacturing machines in their castings repair area, where it employs Wire Arc AM (WAAM) technology, also known as wire-based Directed Energy Deposition (DED), to salvage damaged components from scrap. As a sales partner, the firm wants to focus on developing a supporting ecosystem for Meltio’s technology by collaborating and generating commercial prospects with technology centers, tooling machine businesses, robotic integrators, academia, and industry.
KnowHow Wilhelms will host a German-language webinar on March 1, 2022, with Lukas Hoppe, Meltio’s Head of R&D, and Frank Wilhelms, KnowHow Wilhelms’ CEO, to promote Meltio’s Additive Manufacturing technology to its market.
