Building on their established successes in India and the USA, EOS and Phillips Machine Tools now expand their successful partnership to the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

Phillips Machine Tools, a leading provider of advanced manufacturing solutions, has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with EOS, a global technology leader in industrial 3D printing, to the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. This strategic collaboration is poised to revolutionize the manufacturing landscape in the MEA region by bringing cutting-edge EOS 3D printing technologies and comprehensive technical services to local industries.

Building on their successful partnerships in India and the United States, Phillips and EOS are set to deliver a suite of advanced manufacturing solutions to the MEA market, fostering growth and innovation across various sectors. The collaboration is expected to provide EOS customers in the region with enhanced technical services and access to EOS’s Additive Minds consulting and engineering portfolio, renowned for driving efficiency and innovation in manufacturing.

Anuj Budhiraja, Vice President of Phillips Additive, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “We are excited to extend our collaboration with EOS into the MEA region. Our combined expertise and resources will empower businesses in this region to harness the full potential of advanced manufacturing solutions, driving innovation and efficiency. This partnership provides an opportunity to serve the manufacturing sector in the MEA in an improved manner.”

This partnership comes at a time when the MEA region is increasingly seeking advanced manufacturing solutions to stay competitive in the global market. The combined efforts of Phillips and EOS have already made significant impacts in other regions, enhancing production capabilities and offering innovative solutions across a range of industries, including aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, consumer goods, and space, all areas where EOS has demonstrated its expertise in industrial 3D printing.

Markus Glasser, Senior Vice President EMEA of EOS, highlighted the importance of customer-centricity in this collaboration, saying, “Customer Centricity is a core value for EOS and a necessary pillar to help ensure customer success. With the collaboration between Phillips Machine Tools and EOS, we will be able to deliver on this for our customers, offering a comprehensive and local technical service as well as product portfolio. The MEA region presents unique challenges and opportunities for advanced manufacturing solutions. Our collaboration aims to solve manufacturing challenges by implementing industrial 3D printing and consulting, and by empowering the local manufacturing industry with the latest innovations and services to ensure sustained growth and success.”

Jopu Zachariah, General Manager, MEA at Phillips Machine Tools, also emphasized the region’s potential, stating, “The MEA region holds immense potential for growth in advanced manufacturing. As local representatives, we are committed to driving this growth by bringing world-class technologies and expertise to our customers. This collaboration with EOS will provide the local manufacturing industry with the tools and knowledge needed to overcome challenges in an increasingly competitive global market.”

The expanded partnership will allow businesses in the MEA region to access state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, receive comprehensive training through EOS’s Additive Minds, and benefit from top-tier customer support. This move also strengthens Phillips Machine Tools’ portfolio, which already includes CNC machining centers, industrial automation systems, and additive manufacturing technology, positioning the company to offer a more comprehensive range of advanced manufacturing solutions.

As part of their commitment to advancing the manufacturing ecosystem in the MEA region, EOS and Phillips Machine Tools will be present at the AM Conclave in Abu Dhabi on September 11-12, 2024. This event will provide a unique opportunity for industry leaders and professionals to engage with the latest innovations in additive manufacturing and explore the possibilities offered by this strategic collaboration.
