[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Taking place in Las Vegas, the open-source 3D printing leader will be giving visitors a first-hand look at how its machines are made with nine of its own 3D printers manufacturing parts for more printers, live on the show floor.
Aleph Objects recently printed its 2-millionth production part at its headquarters in Loveland, Colorado, where more than 150 LulzBot 3D Printers run 24/7 in what’s known as “The Cluster” printing custom components such as extruder gears, fan ducts and structural components.
“Our ‘show floor factory’ is not a proof of concept, we’ve been using 3D printers in production since 2011,” Aleph Objects President Harris Kenny explained. “Evolved makers around the world are transforming manufacturing with LulzBot 3D Printers. We encourage you to join us and make everything.”
LulzBot will be launching a competition to give away 20 of these limited-edition Las Vegas-built printers bundled with accessories and filament. In addition, the company will also be announcing availability of three new accessories introduced last year, includingAerostruder Tool Heads for the LulzBot TAZ and LulzBot Mini, which allow printing of both rigid and flexible materials without a tool head change. Available soon after CES will be the LulzBot Mini LCD Controller that allows operation of the popular 3D printer without connection to a host computer.
“We announced ten new products at the end of November 2017,” Aleph Objects Director of Marketing, Ben Malouf said. “We’re excited to be highlighting the final three at CES 2018. The Aerostruder Tool Heads and LulzBot Mini LCD Controller add even more versatility and ease of use to our award-winning 3D printer line-up. The LulzBot Mini 3D Printer bundles given away during the show will feature both the Aerostruder Tool Head and the LCD Controller, as well as the Mini Modular Print Bed System.”
Other recently released products being demonstrated will be the LulzBot TAZ Dual Extruder Tool Head v3, Modular Print Bed Systems for LulzBot TAZ and Mini and a demo of the latest version of Cura LulzBot Edition.
