ADDiTEC and Bharat Fritz Werner collaborate to develop Hybrid Additive Manufacturing Platform

ADDiTEC, a leading US-based additive manufacturing company is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Bharat Fritz Werner Ltd. (BFW), the largest CNC manufacturer in India. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the field of additive manufacturing, combining the strengths of both companies to develop a groundbreaking Hybrid Additive Manufacturing platform.

About the Hybrid Additive Manufacturing Technology

The newly developed Hybrid platform integrates state-of-the-art Liquid Metal Jetting (LMJ) and High-Power Laser Directed Energy Deposition (DED) technologies in a CNC machining system. This all-in-one system offers unprecedented flexibility and capabilities, setting new standards for the additive manufacturing industry and expanding the horizons of what is possible when innovation pushes the boundaries of technology.

Brian Matthews, CEO and Founder of ADDiTEC, commented on the partnership: “We are thrilled to partner with BFW, combining our advanced additive manufacturing technology with their extensive expertise in precision machine tools & engineering. This Hybrid Additive Manufacturing platform represents a significant leap forward when compared to all other products on the market, providing a versatile solution that meets the evolving needs of our additive industry.

Ravi Raghavan, Managing Director of BFW added: “Our collaboration with ADDiTEC is a testament to our commitment to innovation and product excellence. By integrating cutting-edge additive manufacturing technologies with our industry-leading CNC machines, we are poised to revolutionize the manufacturing landscape, offering our customers unmatched flexibility and performance with Hybrid Additive Manufacturing .”

Hybrid Additive Manufacturing Technology launched at TCT 360

ADDiTEC earlier this month at TCT 360, launched the Hybrid Additive Manufacturing Series, an innovative manufacturing platform combining 5-axis hybrid manufacturing with two powerful metal additive manufacturing (AM) technologies: Liquid Metal Jetting (LMJ) and High-Power Laser Directed Energy Deposition (LDED). The event showcased the technological advancements and innovative approaches forged by BFW and ADDiTEC, highlighting the potential for transformative change in manufacturing processes.

The Hybrid Series integrates the features of both Hybrid2 and Hybrid3 systems. Hybrid2 merges Liquid Metal Jetting (LMJ), acquired from Xerox, with CNC machining, while Hybrid3 incorporates High-Power Laser-Assisted Directed Energy Deposition (LDED). This combination offers exceptional precision, speed, and material versatility, establishing new benchmarks in advanced manufacturing.
