Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park has launched the Sharjah Additive Manufacturing Hub (SamHUB), a centre of excellence to advance Additive Manufacturing in United Arab Emirates and the Middle East Region
The goal of SamHUB is to bridge the private, governmental, and academic sectors to enable smooth knowledge and technology transfer between the sectors to promote innovation and development. SamHUB aims to play an integral role in the mass adoption of additive technologies in the near future.
Additive Manufacturing: The future of Manufacturing
SamHUB will also be hosting the an in-person event on additive manufacturing to bring together industry insights and also to showcase the capabilities. The event’s theme is “Additive Manufacturing: The future of Manufacturing” and will be a hybrid event that can be attended in person and online. The event is scheduled for 2nd March 2022 at 2:30 PM at Wing B Auditorium, University City, Sharjah. The program will be started by opening remark and introduction by Eng. Abdulqadar Atiya and Eng. Amna Abduljalil. Panel one will provide the Academic insights, and panel two will provide a corporate perspective in the event. The event will end with the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park tour.

Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park is the parent company of Sharjah Additive Manufacturing Hub. The Park aims to develop their additive manufacturing division due to the advent of The Fourth Industrial Revolution and act as a central hub for all additive manufacturing operations and discussions in the region.
The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (STRI Park), an initiative of the American University of Sharjah Enterprises (AUSE), was established in 2016 by a royal decree of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council of the UAE.
