PSG College of Technology (PSG CT) from Coimbatore and Bengaluru based Metal 3D Printer OEM, Intech Additive Solutions signed an MoU to jointly design and develop hybrid metal additive manufacturing machines.

NASA’s Goddard, Wallops Engineers Test 3D Printed Electronics in Space

Engineers from NASA successfully tested hybrid printed circuits at the edge of space in sounding rocket flight from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility near Chincoteague, Virginia.

Rayvatek Uses SLM Solutions’ Metal 3D Printing Technology to Achieve Breakthroughs in Aerospace Materials

Rayvatek collaborated with SLM Solutions to overcome technical constraints associated with traditional manufacturing methods and deliver high-performance products with lower cost and greater efficiency.

University of North Texas aims to boost critical military manufacturing with Additive Manufacturing

The University of North Texas’ (UNT) College of Engineering, Denton, Texas, USA, is currently conducting research for the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Army Research Laboratory (ARL). The research is focused on analysing Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) AM using equipment located in UNT’s Center for Agile and Adaptive Additive Manufacturing.

NTU Singapore’s launches three new satellites to test 3D-printed satellite parts, monitor the atmosphere and assess new space materials 

Three new satellites built by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) have blasted off into orbit, which will be used to conduct orbital experiments such as testing 3D-printed parts in space, measuring atmospheric data, and evaluating new space materials.

New Research from AMGTA Demonstrates Sustainable Benefits of Binder Jet 3D Printing

The Additive Manufacturer Green Trade Association announced the preliminary results of a life-cycle analysis study titled “Comparative Life-Cycle Assessment: Comparison of Casting vs Binder Jetting for an Industrial Part.”  The preliminary results confirmed a dramatic 38% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through the binder jetting process primarily driven by reduced energy demand during the production phase.
