Skyroot Aerospace successfully tests rocket engine for Vikram II 

Hyderabad-based space tech start-up Skyroot Aerospace on April 4 announced that it has successfully test fired Dhawan-II, a 3D-printed cryogenic rocket engine.

Wohlers Associates’ Releases Specialty Report on Post-Processing 

Wohlers Associates, powered by ASTM International, has published Wohlers Specialty Report on Post Processing: Final Steps of AM Part Production.

World’s First 3D-Printed Hotel to Open in 2024 

In 2024, the world’s first 3D-printed hotel will open in Marfa, Texas. The over 60-acre hotel will showcase cutting-edge architectural approaches made possible by large-scale 3D printing.

Additive Manufacturing Users Group Selects Mark Wynn for President’s Award 

At its 35th annual conference, the Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) bestowed its prestigious President’s Award to Mark Wynn, Senior Technical Specialist for Yazaki North America, Inc. (Canton, Michigan).

The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) presented its prestigious DINO (Distinguished INnovator Operator) Award for additive manufacturing expertise and service to ten deserving individuals.

Nexa3D Acquires Addifab, Launches Digital Tooling for Injection Molding 

Nexa3D has acquired Addifab and launched digital tooling for injection molding. The acquisition follows a successful year of joint go-to-market collaboration between the two companies in both North America and EMEA.

Conflux Technology partnering with Rocket Factory Augsburg to develop aerospace heat exchangers as part of Australian Space Agency’s Moon to Mars Initiative 

Conflux Technology (Conflux) – an Australian metal additive manufacturing (AM) innovator of heat exchangers, and German-based Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) are entering into a partnership to embed the Conflux heat exchanger into a gas duct of an orbital rocket. 

Australian company Amaero to build titanium plant in Abu Dhabi 

Australian-listed company Amaero International Ltd will build a titanium powder manufacturing facility in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD).

3D Printing Helping In IVF

The recently published study  in the journal Nature: Microsystems & Nanoengineering by scientists at the University of Technology Sydney elaborates the application of 3D printing in IVF.
