Challenge
To create a personalised jewellery item engraved with a unique design – the sound waves of the couple’s message for each other. Creating only 2 pieces of such a unique and personalised item would not be possible through any technology other than 3D printing and manufacturers require a minimum order quantity. So Imaginarium stepped up to the challenge.
Solution
The voice of the groom saying his bride’s name was recorded and the resulting soundwave was incorporated into the left shank of the ring next to a diamond studded male motif. Similarly, the soundwave of the bride saying the groom’s name was inscribed on the right shank. The sketch was then converted into a CAD which was casted in gold. After post processing, the diamond setting was done manually by expert craftsmen achieving the finesse of a fine jeweller.
Technology Used
The RPTs were created using DLP-SLA technology which allowed a complex design to be prototyped easily and in a short time span. The whole process of creating such a distinctive piece was done within a week.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/6″][vc_single_image image=”1899″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
