Steakholder Foods, a pioneer in three-dimensional meat and fish printing technology and cultivated cell innovation is about to unveil it 3D-Printed Plant-Based Product Innovations in UAE as it has received a favorable feasibility report from Mérieux NutriSciences.

The report concludes that the raw materials for their proprietary 3D-Printed Plant-Based Product – Whitefish and Steak are considered safe for use in plant-based substitutes, aligning with Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) standards in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This development is particularly noteworthy as the UAE, known for its focus on food security, is set to host a large-scale production facility for these innovative products.

The company plans to engage with UAE regulatory authorities to seek approval in conjunction with the establishment of a significant production facility in the Persian Gulf region.

Simultaneously, Steakholder Foods is actively pursuing commercialization agreements in various regions throughout 2024. As a UN Global Compact member, the company aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing issues such as food security, carbon footprint reduction, and sustainable resource management.
