AMTech Expo – India’s Leading Additive Manufacturing tradeshow makes its comeback in 2022

The Additive Manufacturing industry in India is at a very interesting inflection point and now with the Indian Government launching the National Strategy for Additive Manufacturing, the adoption of this technology is on the rise in the country. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) aims to increase India’s share in global additive manufacturing to 5 per cent within the next three years, with hopes that it could likely add $ 1 billion to the gross domestic product by that time.

The organisers of AMTech saw this opportunity early in 2015 to create a credible knowledge sharing and business networking platform, which was also the need of the hour. With constant industry support and committed efforts in the course of 5 editions since 2015, the show has scaled up to be India’s leading Additive Manufacturing and saw collaborations with organisations like SAMA and NAMIC in their 2019 Edition.

“Our efforts right from inception have been to build a valuable all-inclusive platform for the various stakeholders of Additive Manufacturing both on the supply and user side to drive adoption of this technology in the right direction” – Aditya Chandavarkar, Co-Founder, AMTech and Managing Editor, AM Chronicle

For the 6th edition, the tradeshow is making the big move to the technology hub of Hyderabad. “With our 30+ years of combined expertise in the area of building ecosystems and technical publishing our outlook is to envision AMTech as a global tradeshow with a local focus” – Dilip Raghavan, Co-Founder, AMTech

The show is also supported by the newly constituted National Centre of Additive Manufacturing based in Hyderabad which is the nodal body to promote and build awareness about Additive Manufacturing in India which is a collaboration between the Ministry of Electronics and IT and the Government of the State of Telangana.
