TÜV SÜD in Singapore has awarded the Additive Manufacturing Health & Safety Requirements Certificate to Siemens Advance Manufacturing Transformation Centre (AMTC), in the presence of Singapore’s Minister of State for Education and Manpower, Ms. Gan Siow Huang. Fully developed by TÜV SÜD, this certification scheme defines the Health, Safety and Environmental requirements of Additive Manufacturing production sites that employ powder-based AM technologies.

“This helps to transform the ASEAN Additive Manufacturing eco-system further with an end to end value chain approach” – says Karsten Heuser, VP – Additive Manufacturing, Siemens.

This certification applied to additive manufacturing production sites using powder-based technologies. Sites that comply with the Health, Safety & Environmental requirements as defined in PPP10998A:2021 are eligible for TÜV SÜD certification.
