PiùAdditive is a new exhibition initiative devoted to the supply chain of additive technologies, housed under 33.BI-MU and produced in collaboration with AITA, the Italian organization of additive technologies, to provide information and commercial prospects for firms.

More About the Event

33.BI-MU, one of the world’s major machine tool industry events, will be held on October 12 to 15, 2022, in Fiera Milano Rho, a sophisticated and versatile exhibition complex. The expo has already established itself as a must-attend event for the manufacturing industry’s subtractive, formative, and additive machine tools, robotics, digital manufacturing and automation enabling technologies, and subcontracting. Visitors can find a variety of offers for all types of production needs at the event. Along with the machines and systems that have been at the core of the exhibition since the 1950s and have not ceased even in the middle of the health crises, 33.BI-MU will propose a specific focus on 5 technical topics for 5 display spaces.

Among these, piùAdditive stands out: additive manufacturing, using “machine tools of the third kind,” is now an essential element of the metalworking industry. As a result, BI-MU has hosted for several editions a broad overview of the market solutions, expression of the output of the sector’s leading players, and an ever-increasing number of machine tool makers that use additive technologies to complement and integrate their conventional offer.

Machines, materials, software, products, testing, and post-processing solutions will be the stars of the AITA-sponsored area, which will round out the exhibition with demonstration areas, meetings, and reunions for comparison and in-depth analysis between experts, academics, and industry professionals. Manufacturers, service and research centers, universities, and start-ups will be components of a sector that, due to its adaptability, efficiency, and sustainability, is fast establishing itself on an industrial level.
