UK-based FIG 3D teams up with Samisan Tech to bring advanced 3D printing software, MIRA3D, to British manufacturers.

Samisan Tech, the India-based creator of the MIRA3D software suite, has entered into an exclusive partnership with FIG 3D, a leading advanced manufacturing consultancy based in the UK. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in bringing MIRA3D’s production-ready tools and workflows to manufacturers across the UK.

With this agreement, FIG 3D becomes the sole distributor and implementation partner for MIRA3D in the region. Leveraging their strong local presence and industry knowledge, FIG 3D will offer tailored deployment, technical support, and training to manufacturers across aerospace, medical, jewelry, industrial tooling, and other sectors.

MIRA3D is a feature-rich additive manufacturing software platform designed to address real- world production needs. With capabilities such as mesh repair, auto-orientation, support generation, real-time wall thickness analysis, and 3D scan-to-CAD inspection, MIRA3D helps users reduce print failures, minimize post-processing, and significantly shorten iteration cycles.

“Our goal has always been to simplify complex processes in AM and make them accessible to a broader range of manufacturers,” said Mohit Kumar, CEO of Samisan Tech. “FIG 3D’s deep industry connections and application-first mindset make them the perfect partner to implement MIRA3D where it matters most, on the factory floor.”

What sets this partnership apart is the shared commitment to responsiveness and adaptability. Samisan Tech and FIG 3D will work closely to co-develop new features and ensure that the software evolves in alignment with customer needs, something traditional software providers often struggle to offer.

“We’re excited to bring this game-changing solution to UK manufacturers,” said Mark Pinder, CEO of FIG 3D. “MIRA3D’s intelligent tools, paired with our local expertise, mean faster time- to-print, smarter support, and a truly user-first experience.”

“Too often, manufacturers are forced to adapt their process to the limitations of generic software,” said Andrew Allshorn, Director of Technology Solutions at FIG 3D. “MIRA3D flips that script. It’s engineered to adapt to the user, and with our close collaboration, we can ensure every UK client receives a solution that fits not just functionally, but strategically.”

With MIRA3D’s engineering-first approach and FIG 3D’s hands-on implementation expertise, this alliance is set to empower UK businesses to scale their additive operations with greater efficiency, improved quality, and more design freedom.
