Anatomiz3D Medtech Pvt. Ltd, a ‘patient-specific’ solution provider to the healthcare industry, utilizing Design, 3D Printing and Bioprinting technologies has collaborated with one of India’s leading healthcare providers in the country, Max Healthcare to set up a Medical 3D printing lab at Max Hospital Saket in New Delhi.

Through this lab, Anatomiz3D and Max Healthcare aim to  provide medical 3D printing services at the point-of-care, enabling clinicians with advanced 3D visualization and improved clinical outcomes. With this being one of the first such Hospital 3D printing labs in the country, we hope to continue in our endeavor of providing personalized healthcare solutions. The lab’s services are open to all clinicians across Delhi NCR.

3D Printing is an advanced manufacturing process which converts a digital 3D file into an actual physical part, by depositing layer upon layer of material. This enables the creation of complex parts, not possible with traditional manufacturing techniques. Using various images processing techniques, it is now possible to cover the date from CT and MRI scans into digital 3D models, and subsequently into physical parts using the technology of 3D Printing. These anatomical models are clinically accurate replicas of the patient anatomy, and help provide the clinicians with a 3D visualisation of the patient condition.

Firoza Kothari, Co-Founder & CTO at Anatomiz3D add that “The Lab aims to offer anatomical models for pre-surgical planning, education, patient-specific cutting and drilling guides and customised implants and implant moulds.”
