Arcam EBM Q10plus is GE Additive’s Electron Beam Melting machine designed specifically for the cost-effective production of orthopedic implants. The unique stacking capability of the EBM process allows for maximum utilization of the Q10plus build chamber, which is designed to allow for optimal production of the most common implant types.

The Q10plus is ideal for the production of high-volume implants with advanced trabecular structures. Parts are built in a high-temperature vacuum chamber for a clean, controlled environment. This allows for processing reactive materials and helps alleviate porosity for better material properties.

Arcam A2X @ARCI

Hyderabad based ARCI (International Advanced Research Centre for powder metallurgy and new materials) procured Arcam A2Xfor their advanced research on bio-medical applications. Arcam A2X with a build volume of 200*200*380 and with a capability of handling process temperatures in excess of 1100 degrees inside the build chamber would help ARCI to advance their research on certain crack prone alloys.
