AM Chronicle Middle East Outreach: Polymer AM Opportunities in Oil & Gas

AM Chronicle launches the Middle East Outreach series with a session on Polymer AM Opportunities in Oil & Gas

Additive manufacturing (AM) technologies have a significant scope of application in the oil and gas industry. The AM technologies can play a critical role to resolve the key challenges of the oil and gas industry, that mainly include supply chain constraints and reduction in operation costs. Additionally, according to the World Economic Forum, AM technologies can add up to $30 billion of additional value to oil and gas companies. The AM technologies can provide faster product development and design flexibility for metal and polymer components. The technology can also be used to repair expensive and low-volume high-cost parts in the oil and gas sector.

The AM Chronicle Middle East outreach is a series of online discussions focussed on building awareness on the potential applications of Additive Manufacturing. The first webinar in the series will highlight polymer AM opportunities in the oil and gas industry. The event will be beneficial for industry professionals and research specialists belonging to the oil and gas and AM industry.

The event is an online session, scheduled for 23 rd June 2022 at 3:00 pm Dubai time. The experts who will present their views at the event will include Mr. Aditya Chandavarkar, Managing Editor, AM Chronicle, Mr. Tirtha Sarma, Business Development Manager, Falcon Technologies International, Mr. Kyle Mason, Territory Sales Manager MEA, Markforged, and Dr. Sastry Y Kandukuri, Global Practice Lead, DNV Energy Systems, Norway and Mr Omar Abhuhabaya, General Manager, Immensa.
