Bio-printing is an extension of traditional 3D printing. Bio-printing can produce living tissue, bone, blood vessels and potentially, whole organs for use in medical procedures, training and testing. The interest about 3D-printing has risen spectacularly in the last few years. With continued progress, it has the potential to revolutionize the advances in 3D printing and bio-printing technology have expansive applications in surgery, personalized medicine, diagnostics, and drug discovery.
