3D Printing Centres of Excellence to be setup across Gujarat

3D Systems today signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding between 3D Systems, US Institute of 3D Technology (USI3DT) and the State Government of Gujarat in the presence of the honourable Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani to setup seven 3D Printing Centres of Excellence across Gujarat.

Mr Deelip Menezes, Managing Director, 3D Systems said “This MOU will enable us to set up seven 3D printing Centers of Excellence across Gujarat with the prospect of more in the future. This network of 3D printing facilities will be strategically located in educational institutes across the state and will serve as enablers for students of Gujarat technical colleges to learn about and experience 3D printing from the industry leaders.”

The aim of this initiative is to bridge the gap between companies seeking to adopt 3D printing and additive manufacturing into their workflow and skilled manpower needed to make this happen.
