What does it take to produce customized medical solutions ?

We have been seeing the healthcare industry adopting the customized medical solutions more and more and why not! Every individual is unique in terms of their anatomy shapes and sizes and hence it makes perfect sense to have personalized solutions.

But what exactly is the process involved here? How does one currently produce such customized medical solutions ? Are there any challenges? On this episode of AM Infocast our guests Ketan Jajal and Jitendra Singh share answers to these questions and more.

About Ketan Jajal

Mr. Ketan Jajal is a Founder and CEO at Jajal Medical Services, Vadodara Gujarat. Mr. Jajal received Bachelor from Sardar Patel University, Anand and then Master’s from North Carolina State University, USA. He has played multiple leading roles in Medical device industry in USA, Europe and now in India.

Over his career, Mr. Jajal has filed more then 15 patents and is pioneer in Medical applications of 3D
printing.

About Jitendra Singh

Mr. Jitendra Singh is a Director – Clinical Operations at Jajal Medical Services, Vadodara Gujarat. Mr. Singh holds a bachelor’s in mechanical Engg from Visveswariaya Technological University, Karnataka. He comes with vast experience in designing patient specific anatomical models, surgery guides and custom-made 3d printed implants and has been associated with the Indian 3d printing healthcare industry for almost 10 years.. His expertise includes working with image processing softwares, medical designing software and wide variety of AM technologies.

He has keen interest in 3d printing, FEA simulations and virtual analysis of surgeries. He currently supports surgeons and medical device manufacturers for their complex cases, customized device designs and crucial research areas.
